WINEMAKING NOTES
Our Syrah Cuvée Classique draws inspiration from both Old and New World winemaking, though it leans decidedly toward the Rhône Valley style in France. Its counterpart, Cuvée Violette, reveals Syrah's floral, graceful, and perfumed qualities, whereas Cuvée Classique showcases the darker, more savoury, spicy, and powerful aspects of this noble grape. This wine offers a balanced complexity—elegant yet structured, even in its youth. Expect notes of black peppercorn, iron, dark purple bramble fruits, hints of black olives, and aromatic herbs. Wisps of sage smoke and a hint of rosemary-crusted steak from distant forest fires add a unique allure. While youthful, the balance of flavours already shines, making this wine enjoyable now or an excellent candidate for mid- to long-term cellaring.
